Wild Clay Bud Vases Seconds

Description

Small bud vase made out of locally harvested clay and glaze materials. The clay was collected in the Sierra Foothills and minimally processed in small batches. The glaze utilizes various rocks, clay, and wood ash to create a variable surface ranging from white to green/grey/blue, and from shiny to stone-like matte. They are made entirely by hand on a potters wheel, so variations in shape and surface will occur (see photos).
